Attention All DYHA Members!

We are looking for volunteers to help with several key items over the Summer. 

If you have any interest, please let us know:

1. Skills Sessions and DYHA Camps 

We are looking for a few volunteers who would like to help out with coordinating the summer skills sessions and DYHA run camps. The volunteers would be assigned to sign people in and collect money at the summer skills and camp sessions. You need to get to know the members, and differentiate between member charges and non-member charges. Please email board@dyha.org if you are interested.

2. Vending Machines/Snack Bar 

We are looking for a few volunteers who would like to help out with loading the Vending Machines at times when staff is light or volume is high. The volunteer “vending crew” would be assigned to check on the machines and stock them on designated days. We would also want the crew to be available to help with staffing the snack bar (until we figure out what to do with it) at least for key events.  Please email board@dyha.org if you are interested.

3. Rink Maintenance

We are looking for volunteers who would like to help out with rink maintenance during the summer camps and other sessions. One crew will be assigned to do general cleanup outside the rink a few times a week. Another crew will be assigned to freshen up the inside of the rink during hours when our regular staff is light. 4. Summer Rink Improvement Projects

We will have painting projects and general improvement projects throughout the summer. Let us know if you want to be on the general “handyman” call list. We would also like to know those of you who have particular skills you are willing to share. Contact board@dyha.org if you are interested
