The University of New Hampshire Wildcats defenseman and DYHA Firebirds Alumni, Brad Flaishans became the first Arizonian to be named Division l All-American when he was named to the Second Team this season.
Flaishans, born in Glendale, Arizona, ended his collegiate career with 67 points in 144 games for UNH. Brad played all four years for the UNH at Whittemore Center Arena located in beautiful Durham, New Hampshire. This past season, UNH captured its second consecutive Hockey East regular season title and set a program record for Hockey East wins with 19. The Wildcats advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the seventh straight season.
DYHA proudly displays Brad's name on the wall of fame and also on championship banners hanging from the rafters at Oceanside Ice Arena. The entire DYHA Firebirds organization is honored by the athletic and academic achievements this alumni and fine young man has attained and we wish him all the best in the future. |
