There will be an additional free tryout held on Thursday, May 17th, at 5:00pm for all Peewees looking to play travel hockey in the 2012-13 season. Due to high tryout turnout, DYHA will be fielding a 4th Peewee team. Please contact Jon Koshiol at jkoshiol@cox.net to reserve your player's spot.

The NAPHL Top Prospects Tournament concluded this past weekend in Dallas. This tournament consisted of players in the NAPHL U18 division to showcase their skills during the NAHL Robertson Cup Tournament. The players selected were placed on 1 of 4 teams based on region. The Phoenix Firebirds were represented by Henry Hardarson, Blake Waldersen, Lucas Lomax, Jon Carkeek and Thomas Kaddatz,. These players were combined with participants from the Orange County Hockey Club, California Titans and the San Jose Sharks. These players represented the Southwest region (Team White) by going 4 and 0 and winning the Championship game 4 to 3 against team Yellow. Our congratulations goes out to these players and the accomplishments they have achieved this season as members of the Firebird organization.

The deadline for Firebird jersey & gear orders are fast approaching for all teams.  All Firebird players must have their gear oders placed by May 20th, 2012.  Bobcats teams please contact your team managers for specific instructions regarding ordering procedures.
